Their wedding took place in Brooklyn, NY on August 6, 2011. I had the pleasure of meeting Blanca’s father (Mr. David Carrasco), who is also a photographer, on a wedding that took place in the Bronx a while back. He liked the quality of our work and has chosen Altamaya as their Videographer at his daughter’s Wedding. Certainly one of the most important days in a couple’s life. And there we were, capturing every little detail that will make this day a precious memory.
Our day began at 10:00am, when we arrived at Blanca’s house in Brooklyn. The Groom came to Blanca’s house a bit later. This might seem a bit unusual, right? Instead of the Groom meeting the Bride for the first time at the Church, as it is done traditionally, Saul came to meet her at her house. Yes, this was different, but personally I thought this was VERY romantic.
Mass was held at Our Lady of Grace in Brooklyn at 3:30pm, followed by a videography session after the ceremony near the Verrazano Bridge. It was a perfect place with a perfect scenery for THE perfect day.
Wait! cant’ forget the reception which began at 7:00pm when Blanca & Saul walked in, followed by a traditional Mexican “Baile De Las Flores”. Wrapping up the day with music, great food, and an incredible cake, was a very happy couple. Now Mr. & Mrs. Rivera.
At Altamaya, we would thank Mr. & Mrs. Carrasco for having confidence in us. Mr. & Mrs. Rivera for sharing with us their special day. And to all their Family and Friends for being part of this beautiful couple’s lives.
Now, here is a small piece of a videoclip from Blanca & Saul’s Wedding that we will like to share with you. Hope you enjoy it!
